We are suffering a scourge caused by a culture that values property more than human life and wellness. People in our society willingly make themselves and others miserable in order to build, maintain, and protect property.

At the same time, governments, corporations, and famous people fight to build, maintain, and protect their public image.  Viewing public image as an asset like real estate. Their brand.

Confusion then sets in among the public as people fight to protect their self image as though it were something that could be taken away from them. In the process of this fight, they develop the belief they can manipulate their self image the same way corporations manipulate public image.

Self image is the cumulative result of our choices and behaviors. Nothing can alter it artificially, and lies can only mask it for a short while. However, the choices and behaviors that try and conceal the truth have a negative impact on our self image as the effort to deceive accumulates.

The result is a population of lost souls.
