Evolution of the Human Circuit.

Logic is structure, and emotion is energy.
Emotion flows like water. Unmanaged, it can be unpredictable and destructive. Just like water.

The history of civilization shows the evolution of the effort to manage the flow of all forms of energy. Water, heat, calories, intention (religion and currency), and emotion.

All these forms of energy evolve together and alone, and go through periods of feast and famine. Like a very complex clock, each form of energy is its own hand that ticks at its own pace, but interacts and influences the movement of all the other hands of energy.

We have developed logical systems – cultures, religions, arts, and justice systems – to manage the flow of emotion and intention through our society. There is a point in the cycle when the use of logic gains too much leverage and the systems become corrupt; when the only intention is to create the illusion of balanced flow. Usually it is the result of easy times, when emotion levels are low and slow and logic structures corrode. As the times change and emotion levels begin to rise and flow, these logical systems are then tested.

Imagine that humans have always had a solution to this corruption woven into our DNA.  It only expresses itself when the environment draws it out of us. Individuals moved by emotion more than logic. Individuals whose intention is a primal, unconscious desire to loosen the flow of emotion so that balance can be regained.

Initially, only after the experience of being moved by spirit did people tell stories of how and why it happened. Those stories adapted and evolved with the experiences of each cycle’s effort to loose the flow of emotion. With each instance the story is less about God and divine energy, and more about our own desire to keep energy flowing and balanced.

Most often, when it is only one or two hands on the clock that are stuck, a small group of artists is enough to realign the systems. Rarely, when all of the hands on the clock are stuck in a massive tangle of corruption, an entire order of spirit warriors coalesce into formation.

That is how evolution progresses; mostly small consistent steps, with rare large and violent leaps forward.
