Evolution is far too complex for us to achieve success consciously, through reason.

Our communities and societies have become very complex. Not nearly as complex as nature and its environments, but complex enough.

As time goes by, and environments change, and populations grow, and societies need to adapt, people are compelled to play roles they never anticipated or prepared for. This truth is already woven into our awareness as people become parents, mentors, coaches, or bosses. However, as time moves forward and the fractal structure of society grows, sometimes the role required of a person is completely new; one that no one could have possibly envisioned. The people who are compelled to fill such roles are often traumatized and degraded as they have to fight against all of society to allow the new role to emerge. We know that it is true and authentic when they also fight against themselves, because they too are an established part of the old structure.  It is only after that person has finished and moved on does the rest of society take the time to examine their life and understand the value of the role they played.

Our stories of faith help keep the imagination under control through the experience of adapting our established routines to fill a new niche.

Our stories of faith help keep the imagination under control through the experience of adapting our established routines to fill a new niche. The evolution of human society is driven by the perceived battle between masculine and feminine. However our perception of the battle is immature and superficial. The true battle is between “boundaries and comfort”, and “infrastructure and efficiency”. There are people who are instinctively focused on boundaries and the comfort they afford them, and there are people who focus on sound infrastructure and the efficiency it provides.

The true battle is between “boundaries and comfort”, and “infrastructure and efficiency”. There are people who are instinctively focused on boundaries and the comfort they afford them, and there are people who focus on sound infrastructure and the efficiency it provides. The coming famine will be exacerbated by the battle between maintaining boundaries for comfort, and adapting infrastructure to increase efficiency as it occurs at each level of labor.

The coming famine will be exacerbated by the battle between maintaining boundaries for comfort, and adapting infrastructure to increase efficiency as it occurs at each level of labor.

There are four labors in life; physical, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual. Each level of labor makes the previous levels easier. And every person is natural to one form of labor.

People whose solutions are physical will battle within their group, between boundaries and infrastructure, and against those whose solutions are intellectual and emotional.

What will carry our society forward successfully is to develop an understanding of such group dynamics into our daily routines. Each layer of a fractal society battling at multiple aspects of human experience, between maintaining boundaries for comfort, and adapting infrastructure for increased efficiency. In the end, as our society grows into its next permutation, our faith will evolve from this battle. Our understanding of the stories that guide us will adapt to serve the new society and the continuing battle between boundaries and infrastructure.
