Creating a Son of God is easier than creating a God.

There is only one good reason to implement a digital grid to manage people’s behavior: no one is afraid of God anymore.

For thousands of years the fear of God, or the fear of being judged by others for not appearing to fear God, is what kept people from deviating too far from the norm. Like Santa Claus, the fear of God was the vehicle by which decent behavior was taught. Now, there is nothing keeping people respectful and civilized, and it shows.

So, the idea is to replace the fear of God with a network of smart devices connected to AI structures that monitor and influence people in their daily activities and choices. Truthfully, given how people behave without some sort of moral pressure pushing down on them, it is not a horrible idea. But, unfortunately, it cannot work.

The reason that it cannot work is that it is real and tangible. We humans have a long history of destroying the real things in our lives that endeavor to bind us. Especially if they mean us well and are truly Gods. It only works if God resides solely in our hearts and minds. Then, it can influence our ideas, mood, and outlook without provoking a destructive knee-jerk reaction to free ourselves. (Not to mention how much cheaper and less prone to glitches the idea of God is compared to a massive computer network.)

Unless , or course,… Elon “DARPA” Musk is truly a genius and is playing six dimensional chess. Then, the digital AI control grid they are setting up has been designed to lose. It has been designed to play the role of the Son of God. The lessons we learn from witnessing our reactionary fight against positive change can lay the foundation of a new religion that will carry us a few thousand years into the future.

Nah,.. too complicated. The thing that has allowed the belief in God to endure is not the fear of God, but the love we can feel from God. If we are good. No material object can replicate this, no amount of money or fancy sneakers, because the love we feel from God is really the love we give to ourselves. It really is a funny little trick we have evolved. We fool ourselves into giving ourselves love to share with others.
