By the year 2030, every single American will be begging the government for a Centralized Digital Currency(CDC). But will how we get to that point be justified?

Hypothetically, let us say that dishonest business transactions, people being conned and grifted out of their money, account for about thirty percent of the average person’s transactions, and the banking institutions know that they can reduce that number to five percent with a CDC. However, the general public, notoriously stubborn against any change, would never support such a change with things being as they are. Would it be justified to encourage the dishonest transaction number up to eighty percent?

Every aspect of our society is pressuring and encouraging people to become dishonest. From TV shows and movies glorifying the wise guys like Tony Soprano and Walter White, to politicians who are no more than two bit grifters (not just the obvious one). The only honest people depicted in our media are overly fantasized comic book heroes or otherwise completely unbelievable as regular people.

Prohibition would never have become law if the general public was not completely fed up with the level of depravity seen on the streets due to alcohol. As every level of our economy comes under the control of flagrant profiteers, if it is not part of a larger plan, then either civil war or coup by military junta is all but guaranteed.
