If we hold a story in our mind long enough, we will bring it into this world through our choices and actions. The details of what we bring into this world might not be exactly the same as the story in our mind, but the general structure will be the same.

There is a story held so deeply and firmly within the minds of every single person on this Earth that all of humanity plays a role in bringing it into reality. This story in the deepest recesses of our collective mind is older than language and the structure of which will never change. 

The story is of a hierarchical power structure that emanates from high above. In the previous manifestation, each region and city-state believed in their own source of this power, but a new philosophy made the tiny adjustment of consolidating this power to a single source. This small change allowed for greater cohesion among people so civilization could evolve further.

Still, this story is held in the mind of everyone, no matter what they believe, and our collective choices and actions manifest this structure even though we might not want it to logically. Over and over again we build a society that has a hierarchical power structure we cannot control.

The story’s next adaptation is minute. Nothing more than the awareness that our choices and actions bring this story into our world. Over time, over generations, people will learn that they do have control how this story is brought into this world. And that outcome is much better the more people work together.

To work to introduce this next adaptation is to be an affront to the very fabric of society. Everything people take for granted and all that people assume to be normal must change.
