The best way to solve a problem is to immerse ourselves in the environment, and then try to make the entire environment better, more balanced. Working to bring balance to the entire environment ensures that the problem and all of its symptoms will inherently be addressed.

American Problem Solving involves showing up at the problem site to take a quick look at the effects, assigning a money based solution to alleviate only the most obvious symptom of the problem, and then leaving. Then, when the problem persists, blaming everyone else for not properly carrying out the solution.

Naturally, if a person wants to maintain authority, they must undermine the local population. Because if they were allowed to, the local population would instinctively bring balance to their environment and expose the fraud in the system.

This is why religion was so important in the evolution of our civilization. It nurtured the local population to work together in creating and maintaining an effective balance. Unfortunately, the structure and practices of the old established religions, that helped society grow through the agrarian age, are falling apart as the population grows exponentially further into the industrial age.
