There is no way to sustain a world where narrative outweighs evidence and motive.

Justice is not a logical pursuit, it is an emotional balancing. While it is a benefit for a person to experience the emotional relief of receiving  justice, the real value of justice is as a means to keep a community balanced, cohesive, and working towards the same goals.

Greed, the empty pursuit of wealth and power, pushes communities out of balance, erodes the cohesion, and induces people to work towards disparate goals. Until, or course, it reaches a tipping point and the public snaps and instinctively fights to pursue justice and regain balance.

Undoubtedly there are people in think tanks who think they might be able to game this process to their advantage. It cannot be done. Justice is not logical, it is emotional. Like a knuckleball, once it is released, there is no telling how it will travel.
