It is very common to hear the argument that if the founding fathers knew about our modern weapons, the 2nd Amendment would be different. However, this is true with everything in our society. If they knew about the Internet and social media, would the 1st Amendment be the same?

A legal contract is a document that programs how people and objects interact. The more people and objects there are, the more precise a contract needs to be.

The U.S. Constitution is a legal contract. Its primary purpose is to program how choices are made at the national level.

If the founding fathers knew anything about computer science or programming theory, the U.S. Constitution would be very different indeed.
