We have the power to use our focus and intent to make the environment around us as we imagine it should be, but we do not have the power to stop time or arrest our own maturation process.

Either our vision of our own life must adapt as we age, or we must experience the painful collapse of the world we created when we were younger. This collapse will be the outward expression of our immaturity.

Only if the vision of our own life involves the full cycle of life, can we know a complete, healthy, and balanced life.

A good modern religion would have rituals that aided its members through all stages of life, not just rituals of indoctrination for the young.
