When we have a goal, we must develop and maintain principles that guide and align our behaviors and routines to achieve that goal. The larger the goal, the more people must be involved who share the desire to achieve that goal. These people must continuously work to develop and maintain shared principles, accepted behaviors, and productive routines.
Manipulating a community away from their shared goal to pursue a secret goal creates confusion and decay, and invariably invites a new shared goal for the confused and frustrated people to rally around. Those trying to maintain the secret goal must eliminate those challengers to achieve their goal.
Thus, any new goal must include resisting the negative and toxic effects of conspirators without making the conspirators an objective and deviating from the overall goal.
