Leaders and managers are driven by their vision and a desire to see it come to fruition, regardless of the opinions of others.

Craftsman and artisans are driven by the desire to receive praise and attention for their efforts; compelling them towards advancement, accuracy, and detail.

Workers and laborers are driven by the desire to make ends meet, depending on their standards of living. Some are simple and some are extravagant; from living hand to mouth to being intricately planned out.

None of this is perfectly straight forward. There are many variables and even a spectrum; a soft blur from leader to laborer.

A problem our society faces today is that economic pressures have laborers acting as leaders, craftsman and artisans being treated as laborers, and true leaders being pushed aside outright.

If it isn’t a little frightening to share, it is not art.
If it isn’t a little scary to implement, it is not progress.
