Aging gracefully is accepting the inherent misery of getting older with aplomb, so as to not make it worse for ourselves or the people around us.
As we age, the outward expression of ourselves must change; must evolve. Sometimes we can dictate the changes, but mostly we can only do just enough to make a natural process our own.
The graceful walk along with these changes as though they were an old friend. The miserable fight against change, tooth and nail, every step of the way.
Everyone ages, and everything ages. Even perspectives, ideas, and reasoning.
