The world is drowning in a repetitive cycle of destruction and decay.

Every morning I sit with a cup of coffee and write out my thoughts. To see what is there and to make choices about what to focus on and what to let go.

The same stories,
the same perspectives, and
the same non-solutions,..

Complicating this process is the fact that the world around me is stuck in a degrading cycle. With all of the input – all of the arguments, stories, and solutions – designed to maintain the status quo; allowing the degrading cycle to continue unabated.

The same stories,
the same perspectives, and 
the same non-solutions,.. 
over and over again.

Those who profit from the degradation take up the narrative like a prayer; like it is their anthem. Some profit financially, some profit emotionally, and some are only in it for the experience; like a child intently ripping the wings off a butterfly.

To move forward, to end this cycle of decay and destruction, we must choose to let go of the same stories, the same perspectives, and the same non-solutions, by turning off those who repeat them over and over again.

This causes pain in those who profit from the decay and refuse to see any other option,.. reinforcing their dedication to the anthem.
