Socially, there are three classes of people in any society. These classes are not based on race, gender, religion, occupation, or wealth. The third class blames others for their situation, the second class blames others for their situation and uses the third class as leverage against them, and the first class does not blame anyone. They simply accept responsibility for their own lives and do what they need to do.

True social leadership comes from within a community and adapts along with the other members. The only way to “lead” from outside the community is through threats and fear; using reactions to push the community in one direction or another. This is not leading, it is herding. This herding is only done by the second class.

A first class social leader never worries about being a leader; never tries to make themselves into a leader. They know the experience of leadership comes and goes on its own like peace and happiness. To know periods of being a leader only requires that we live in the moment, fully alert and engaged.
