I am at a place of great change.
Everyone around me knows it, and I am acutely aware,.. and sensitive. Like a cat. Not only of my individual predicament, but of the pressure from all of those around me.
At this time I cannot say that I am experiencing any barriers to my growth, but there is a considerable amount of confusion. Everyone believes they know the nature of me and my development better than I do. The truth is that no one knows,… as it is impossible to know such things.
It is the arrogance of logic that leads people to believe they can predict the future. It is the arrogance of logic that leads people to believe they can know and calculate all of the variables and conditions that are required to adapt successfully to an ever changing environment. This arrogance compels people to paint their lives by numbers; where they perceive a right and wrong answer for everything; erasing the concept of personality and replacing it with the calculated illusion of individuality; reducing creativity to nothing more than a function of marketing. This is made easy and acceptable when life is quiet and calm, but when the calamity of true change comes to us, this logic becomes a liability.
To grow and adapt successfully, sustainably, all of our attention must be focused on the present; reading the changes and adapting to them from moment to moment. There is no time to calculate. All energy must be directed towards being alert and responsive, experiencing the world like a child;.. open and honest. Anything else will create a fight within ourselves, as we desperately try to project our ideas of perfection onto an unforgiving world. And the only thing that ends up being manifested into the world is the fight,.. for dominance.
None of this is surprising. It has happened many times before. The cycle of evolution applied to societies and cultures. We become rigid with our own debris, and change comes and breaks us free from our assumptions; the rules we have created for ourselves; the routines we have become accustomed to;.. our prison.
It is time to let go. Completely. We cannot live forever, and we each must die a million times before leaving this Earth. Each death is a successful adaptation to the ever changing environment.
