Corruption is to divide authority from responsibility.

In our modern bureaucratic government this is displayed through the creation of new departments and agencies. Each time responsibility gets close to touching authority a new department or agency is created to plug the gap.

Artificial Intelligence is a powerful tool,.. and only a tool. There is a large amount of money and effort being spent to convince people that it is more than just a tool; that it is a threat in itself. It is the same kind of media blitz that pushed COVID vaccines, and is pushing the war in Ukraine. Why? Considering how much money and resources A.I. costs to run, where is the gain?

Like any tool, A.I. can be used for good or for evil. 

In its best form, A.I. is a tool that all people can use freely to become more efficient and effective. In certain situations, it can even become a more advanced traffic light; helping improve how people navigate through life among a sea of other people. But, this can only work if people are aware how it works and anticipate its functions.  

In its worst form, A.I. is a next level device to separate authority from responsibility. For example, “After the drone massacre of school children the General stated in a press conference that an A.I. detected a threat and acted autonomously. There will be an internal investigation to determine what changes can be made.”

The number one predictor of which intent is being pursued is transparency.
