Teenagers have their own little groups, and each group has its own language. These languages begin with movie quotes and song lyrics, then competition with other teens pressures them to evolve so they only need to allude to the movie quotes and song lyrics. Just one word, or even facial expression, can open up an entire scene of hidden meaning and circumstances in the conversations. The risk they are avoiding is that teens from other groups, or even parents, might understand what movie scene is being referred to and become offended. Having this private language reinforces a sensation of “Us against the world.”

This is how communication is boosted, through emotional images, where a one dimensional word can unlock a ten dimensional understanding in a privately shared language. This heightened communication is how The Bible gave people the power to build the Catholic Empire. Not through belief or faith, but an emotionally potent language that gave them an advantage; made them more effective. Shakespeare took the next natural adaptation and gave Britain their own private language which enabled their empire. Empires rise and fall on the ability of people to use the extended emotional language as an advantage. However, time erodes the effectiveness as the stories spread out and groups within each generation adapt to create their own language.

As we watch ourselves fall apart, no one is reading the old stories and none of the new stories carry enough weight to build a community, there seems to be an effort to engineer a new community structure based solely on the idea of science and technology as a religion. They are even trying to create an image of God in the form of Artificial Intelligence. This is a practical application based on a misunderstanding of the value of religion. It is true that people have used the established religions as a system to control, but the religions were born and grew out of the increased efficiency that the emotional language gave followers.

What we will learn is that to create a New World Order will require a new, up to date emotional language that empowers people to communicate more effectively. Simply engineering a technological system of control will not contain the teenagers for long.
