It begins with strength;
the strongest rule by force,
which pressures the weak to become clever.
The cleverest then take power;
using their brains to stay above the fray,
which invites the wealthy to corrupt their intentions.
The wealthy then control the show;
using their money to maintain dominance,
which slowly becomes increasingly illusory
and requires the wealthy to pay for more
and more protection from the strongest.

The cycle starts over again
as the strongest regain power
after their time of learning;
first from serving the clever,
then from serving the wealthy.

The story that AI is a threat is a con,
devised by the rich and the strong
to keep the clever at heel, which
is alright as it is how evolution works:
the cleverest will learn what they need to
so they may play their part when it is
their turn to rule.
