To survive we need to adapt. Change is constant and necessary.

American slavery is based on a push an pull scenario. The media drives people into stubborn selfish defiance, resisting change at all costs, and the oligarchs then pressure change to their own advantage. The only change that is allowed is the change that comes from the top; through the controlled media outlets.

There is no more important lesson to learn in this world than knowing how to read the environment and adapt for our own benefit.
