Every now and then I like to use a graph of some sort to augment what I am writing about. Unfortunately, these graphics take me forever to make because they occur so infrequently I can never remember how I made the last one. Every time I wish to make a graph I have to reinvent the wheel.

There are three options for this problem… the first is to do nothing and simply suffer the frustration. The second option is to begin a routine of doing graphics on a regular basis to keep the skills fresh, even though I don’t need that many graphics. The third option is to take notes about how I do these things and hope that I remember that I have the notes, can find them, and remember what the notes mean each time I need them.
