If our government truly believed in free market capitalism, if a billionaire were truly a free market capitalist, and wanted to get Americans to switch to a digital ID, they would quietly make it a cheap option at the Department of Motor Vehicles. So that,

when a person went to get a new license or renew their license, they would have the option of either paying one hundred dollars for a traditional license or fifteen dollars for a digital one. Then,

after five years, without any fanfare or marketing, propaganda, or manipulation from manufactured fear, eighty-five percent of adult Americans would have a digital ID.

This is, after all, how free market capitalism is supposed to work.
