For a large chunk of our history the media depicted Jews as pigs and trolls and Blacks as monkeys. In the 1960’s we can this simple display of endemic racism intentionally weaponized.
Opponents of the Vietnam War were characterized as being dirty hippies. Even though a staggering majority of those who opposed the war were just normal everyday people, there was a deliberate effort to associate the anti-war movement with the image of dirty, long-haired, barefoot, drug addled, sex crazed, hippies. This was done to ensure that the majority of Americans, who were salt-of-the-Earth blue collar folk, would continue to support the war. Making support for the war a simple choice of public image; “Do I side with the dirty hippies, or the President of the United States?”
Today, we are seeing this weaponization being played out again, but in an evolved form. Instead of one group of dirty hippies, there are now two. To the people on the left of the political spectrum, Conservatives are being depicted as slow, gun toting, morons with red hats. To the people on the right of the political spectrum, Democrats are being depicted as screaming, woke, irrational blue-hairs. This is all despite the fact that 99.9% of the American public, both left and right, Democrat and Republican, are normal work-a-day people. How is this being done? Well, it is very simple in this modern world.
We are all aware of how the internet shows us advertisements related to the things we do in the world, search for on the internet, and post on social media. If we shop at a particular store we are shown advertisements related to the products at that store. If we watch a certain video on YouTube we start seeing related advertisements everywhere. It is like a clockwork and as reliable as the sun rising and setting. But, how many people are thinking about how this might work with politics?
From our activities, both on and off-line, the internet algorithms know which side of the political fence we all stand on. With this knowledge they are able to show us certain stories and headlines from the news, social media posts, and paid internet agitators. The people on the left are being shown stories about coarse MAGA slobs doing something deplorable that the people on the right never see. The people on the right are shown stories of screaming blue-hairs and transgender strip shows that the people on the left never see. And if, by chance, someone does see one of those other stories, we are conditioned to believe it is all fake news and a conspiracy made up by those untrustworthy animals on the other side.
This is how the population is being divided. Each side is being conditioned to blame the other side for all the bad things that are happening. And it will escalate and become far more efficient and effective as the effort to herd people into separate social media sites continues. Once everyone has been separated according to their specific social and political proclivities, things will really start to get crazy.
