Money and God are imaginary. This is not to say they are not real. Gods always hide in the place they want us to look.

They are both aspirations. Two Gods we pray to in order to give us comfort and security, or fulfill our dreams. We all dream about what we could achieve with their ample support. We tell ourselves stories based on a combination of myth and experience to justify our efforts. These stories encourage behavior structures of rites, rituals, mores, and norms. All of which are focused on gaining an advantage in this world.

This is how religions emerge. Through religious practice we manifest our imagination into the real world.

There are those who believe that money is the better God; more effective and accomplished. I think that our perception of God, as a whole, is still very immature; money or otherwise. We are still children playing with the concept of manifestation at a very rudimentary level.
