Insecurity invites others to influence our own narrative… our own self esteem.

This is why most people avoid things that make them feel insecure, and live in a prison of conformity; making sure nothing upturns their understanding of themselves.

This is also why psychopaths get away with so much. Not only do they lack insecurity, but the average person is not trained in confrontation and debate anymore, making them unable to stand up to psychopaths; allowing them to control the situation and the narrative.

The most important thing a parent can do is teach their children how to stand up for themselves; physically, intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
