An organized, institutional religion that does not challenge other secular institutions – governments and corporations – has no purpose or value. Just as a corporation that does not challenge governments will not be profitable.
They are the three legs of modern civilization. If one is weak, civilization crumbles.
Just like in a household, there are two ways for an institution to challenge other institutions; direct and open confrontation, and guiding their members as to which services to use and how to use them properly.
