A country with a government that has publicly known thirty year and one hundred year plans will always be more successful than one without. The advantage is that such plans let the public know how to plan and build their own lives, as well as how to work with others. Even if they do not fully agree with the plans, they are still able to make plans themselves. When people do not have any idea of what is going to happen or what direction things will go, they tend to do as little as possible until they do have an idea.
