The single most important commodity in management is Trust. Anything that erodes trust should be avoided at all costs. This includes the “Noble Lie”.

A Noble Lie does not actually exist, it is just a lie.

Lying is a tool to demean and dehumanize people and consolidate power. Dehumanizing people and consolidating power are the two fundamental objectives of sociopaths who try to create their “Perfect World”.

Lying can improve efficiency in the short term, but maintaining lies over time is extremely inefficient… An inefficiency that increases exponentially the longer the lie must be maintained.
