Knowing and creating are different skills.
If something happens in the world around me and gets my ire up, the first thing I do is sit and write out the energy. It is usually a stream of illegible filth, but somewhere it all a thesis comes to the surface.
The next step is to take that thesis and write about it freely to see what else might emerge. If everything is working properly, a faint figment of a metaphor is hinted at.
I will take this shadowy image and massage it out as fully as I can. Most often the story leads to a dialogue with an imaginary figure. Within that dialogue pure understanding of my own perspective is exposed.
That pure understanding goes into Maciolekism.
On a community level, each person should rise to the level they find natural to them. Most people cannot even sit to write out their thoughts and emotions to begin with. They are locked in a cave of shadows.
An ever decreasing number of people can make it to each consecutive level upwards. With only a handful making out of the cave and into the sunshine.
The trick is that we can only effectively communicate with people who are at a level adjacent to us. A person who can make it out to the sunshine cannot be understood by people still locked in the depths of the cave. Thus, a healthy society nurtures and allows for the process of passing understanding, from person to person, down the line: Philosophers to artists and academics, artists and academics to teachers and managers, teachers and managers to students and workers. Politicians and manipulators works very hard to disrupt and subvert this process.
We cannot say anything that everyone will connect to and agree with. We must focus on our natural level of skill and build an audience.
