A large family,
used to having small worries,
must now stretch their pennies.

Second son, a young adult,
who should be working
in one way or another,
should be helping out
in one way or another,
used to getting his way
via stubbornness and tantrum,
is forced to escalate.

The parents and grandparents,
with younger children to consider,
can only stand aside and watch
as the police must get involved.

The second son doesn’t understand
the mistakes were made a long time ago,
and a deep hateful grudge is formed.
