The Spectrum of Intolerance

  • Terrorism: the illegal use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of economic/political goals.
  • Fascism: the legal use of violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of economic/political goals.
  • Bullyism: the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of personal goals.
  • Annoyism: the use of tedious behavior to manipulate the actions of others.

** It seems to me that there is currently a concerted, well orchestrated effort to use all four of the strategies on this spectrum.
