In the beginning,.. there was Monarchy. The monarchs owned all the property. When the monarchies came crashing down the reaction was to question what to do with the property. The answers to this were Capitalism and Communism.

They are siblings born from the same parent. Like siblings, naturally opposed. But, as they grow older, they both slowly drift back to being just like their parent. After all, just like monarchy, they are expressions of materialism. Property first, people last.

The lesson of the past two centuries is that Monarchy is the best economic/governing system that can be implemented from the materialistic perspective. If we wish to do better, we must see the world from a different perspective.
