Consensus is often used as just another word for orthodoxy. Orthodoxy is good when there is no vision of something better.

Trouble appears on the horizon when orthodoxy becomes the excuse for assertiveness and abuse, regardless of facts or reason.

All trolls fight against deviations from what they consider to be orthodoxy. In this way they are like soldier bees; monitoring the hive for any individual not behaving properly.

The trolls who work for large institutions are well organized and focused. They are extremely annoying, which makes them highly effective. The trolls who are independent and solitary come off as crazy loose cannons.

The hook that all trolls use to snare a person is the conditioned idea that we owe everyone an explanation as to why we see the world through our own eyes. No matter what we might say, they will act as though it’s not good enough. And each time we try to explain they are quick to pounce on any mistake we might make. The more we find our balance and learn to ignore them, the more aggressive they get.

The greatest enemy of trolls, fascism and tyranny is evolution. The more the environment changes, the more people adapt. The more people adapt, the more violence is used to maintain the status quo. But nothing can stop evolution, so tyranny always collapses… one way or another. (Usually because the tyrants never realize that they are the environment that people are adapting to in order to survive.)

Evolution is the fundamental process by which everything exists in this universe, and the moment you decide to act on the intention to dominate and control is the moment you write the script of your own destruction. If your intention was to find balance, then people would adapt to find balance with you. But since your intention is to control, people will adapt to overpower you.

As tyrants and trolls fall, they will cry about how unfairly they are being treated. This is just a variation in how they cling to their sense of orthodoxy: the final gasp as they insist, over and over again, that they need a good explanation as to why they are being treated in such a way.

We owe you nothing.
