I do not agree with the popular theory about dreams. By my experience, not all dreams are just data from our daily experiences being processed; filed away for later use.

As a simple example, last night I had an extremely detailed and realistic dream that revolved around the Kardashians, Kanye West, and Jay Z. I have no knowledge or awareness of these people, my news feeds are even set to block stories about them, so I do not get any exposure to their life or culture. And yet…

It was a cool dream though, as it involved driving in fancy electric vans that went into a fancy hotel, through the lobby, and into the elevator. Then from the elevator and into the room. Each room had its own electric van. It was like Dan Tana hotel.
