Applied Political theory is like a video game. Children will play with it until they go down every passage, explore every corner, learn every secret, and exploit every trick. After that, they become destructive in their boredom… unless they move to another game.
There is no climax political philosophy. There will be no perfect peaceful society in the future that will continue on in perpetuity. One political system begets the next, and moving forward, lest we suffer a complete collapse, always requires a revolution… in one form or another.
Philosophy is dictated by perception, which is different for everyone. Different perceptions evoke different behaviors and choices.
- The banker’s environment includes the farmer as a subject,.. or, at most, a customer. The farmer’s environment includes the banker as a predator.
- These two examples are not on the same level. The probability of the banker having a higher sense of context is no greater than that of the farmer.
- Some people can only see the world that is in front of their face, while others can pull back and see themselves in a much broader context.
The job of a philosopher is to make sure the overall perception of reality is never biased towards any particular ideology. The sophist is a chameleon hell-bent on getting people to work on their team.
No one wants to be responsible for anyone else’s fantasies.
