Politics destroys management.

In a society of constant politics, there can be no sound management.

Well,.. three cheers to no more political advertisements and junk mail!!

Just think of all the good that could have been done with the money they blow on campaigning. And then, think who would get elected, the type of people who would get elected, if the campaign playing field was leveled. I mean, if everyone were limited to spending the same amount of money, they might actually talk about the specifics of their  policies and vision. (You know, a vision other than Power and Money.)

Or, from another perspective, political campaigns and elections are supposed to be the business meetings of this country. Where decisions are made as to what path we take. Just like the ones everyone has in their office or place of work. But, our country’s business meetings are dysfunctional and nothing is really said and no choices are actually made. We go to the meeting and trash talk for a while, then afterwards, outside consultants (bankers and corporate lobby groups) tell us what to do.
