Freedom is when we choose our own goals.

Independence is when we measure our own success.

Community is when we choose to align our goals and measures of success with others.

Tyranny is when we force others to align to our goals and measures of success.

There is no way to change a Tyranny into a Community.

A Tyranny can only break up into smaller Communities.

Over time, as the environment changes, it is possible for separate communities to come together to form a larger community…

But that must be based on a conscious alignment of goals and measures of success.

No matter how many people this world has, no matter what the technology can do, our families, communities, societies, and civilization can only be sustained through a fractal structure.
