If we believe the principles of evolution, not only have we adapted into this arrangement over millions of years, but it is absolutely necessary for our survival and continued evolution.

Evolution is a constant conflict; a constant falling down. If we should ever figure out a way to stabilize and end that conflict, it all ends and we die forever.
