Fire exists naturally, burning wild in our environment.

Humans have evolved into our environment adapting to fire, learning to understand it in nature and to use it as a weapon and a tool.

During this process of adaptation many people have been burned by fire; making mistakes in their own efforts to use it, having it used against them, and being caught unexpectedly by it in nature.

Still, even with the risks, and even though many people still get burned because they have not learned to properly respect fire, we need fire to survive.

It is an indispensable part of us, because it is an indispensable part of our environment.

All this will be true with data as well.

Data is the new fire.
